Rajant Corporation Strengthens Its Mining Division with the Appointment of Frank Olivieri as Director of Business Development - Mining Division
New Executive Brings Extensive Mining Experience to Rajant’s Expanding Business
MALVERN, PA, July 11, 2007 – Rajant Corporation, a leading provider of portable, reliable, and adaptable wireless networking solutions, is pleased to announce that mining industry veteran Frank Olivieri has joined the Company as Director of Business Development - Mining Division.
In his new role, Mr. Olivieri will oversee Rajant's expanding business in the open-pit, hardrock and coal mining sectors. Mr. Olivieri will also contribute to developing and implementing the Company’s overall growth strategy. Mr Olivieri will be based in Tucson, Arizona and will assist in international business.

Frank Olivieri, a graduate of DeVry Technical Institute, has 30 years of field engineering, application support and technical marketing and sales experience in the Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, and mining industries of which eighteen years include marketing mine management and machine control systems sales.
Most recently Frank’s experience is with Caterpillar, Inc. where he spent 9 years involved with the strategic marketing development of Caterpillar’s MineStar® mine management system, including CAESultra, and Aquila Drill and Dragline Management systems in North and South America. Prior to joining Caterpillar Frank served as Sales and Marketing Manager for Modular Mining Systems, Tucson, AZ for 9 years where he was personally responsible for direct sales of Fleet Management Systems worldwide, increasing after market revenues in excess of 40% per year and managed an inside sales team that grew the after market revenue in excess of $11 million.
