The wireless industry faces enormous challenges as consumers and businesses alike grow more reliant upon smart phones and mobile Internet. Smart phone sales today outstrip those of PCs, and are projected to top 1.5 billion units annually before 2013. Consumers expect wireless coverage – including mobile Internet – to be as ubiquitous and available as a dial tone.
